Just a thot to keep thinks hopping. What if Jung's observation, which he termed synchronicity was a glimse of a Higher order, a deeper level of connection not fate. Science stems from a root meaning to know, not just believe but it has become just as dogmatic as some religions seem to have become. There is a website called Taste if you are interested, where scientists can and do anonymously share their experiences of these feelings of connectedness.
Part of our being conscious beings is our ability to become aware of patterns and to make discoveries, to be curious and yes sometimes we make mountains out of moll hills but sometimes the connections we see are really there. We are taught from early on that we can not trust ourselves and that we should surrender our thought process to some authority figure or figures. Maybe we all just the blind leading the blind, but then again maybe some glimpses of a higher order are not delusion. The beauty of the first Matrix in my opinion and the thing that touched me the most was how interwoven and multidimensional the story was and I think that it appeals because so much of what we see in the media movies,tv etc. is so flat and lacks depth. why else would we be here at this forum if we did not enjoy using our faculties and discoursing on these subjects?
