Subject: What is wrong with neo?

Neo is supposed to be able to 'change the matrix as he sees fit', but he is not using his skill to change or break the matrix he is only bending it just that little bit further than everyone else.
If Neo can understand and change the matrix then he is therefore able to break every law of physics ever created. This in turn means that he is able to shatter the laws of speed, gravity and even time!
He should be able to go faster than the speed of light because the 'light' he is running faster than is a computer program, and therefore inferior to him. He does not do this. He should also have the ability to pause the matrix to his own advantage, much like pausing a game for a much needed rest. Again he does not do this. I could carry this on to say such things as the ability to walk through walls, throw entire buildings with ease, even the ability to rip someone to billions of atoms just by thinking about it.
Why does Neo not practise these amazing and seemingly impossible tasks?
Can anyone explain?
