Eryk sighed and leaned back a bit. Actually, he fell back, collapsing onto the bed, resting his head on his hands. "Does Fate always bother you like this?" she asks her, smiling a bit up at the cielling.
Firecracker is right, Neka heaved a sigh. "Fine.." she says stubbornly. "You don't have to tell me.." she sat down angrily in a chair, crossing her legs. She was jealous... already! She had a feeling that Fate had something for Aerian.
Nicolett grinned to Kanth still and pushed a stray strand of her hair back behind her ear. Kanth now was grinning, the fear of this woman was now gone and he stepped towards her.
"Finally.. we get to do something my way.." he grins, rubbing his hands together as if they were cold. It was just a sign of greed however in his book, and he was a greedy little elf. Nicolett smiled and patted his shoulder as the terrier dog sized Tilek sauntered down the road after the two, the ear inbetween his teeth.
"Just.. promise you won't kill whoever it is we kidnap until we get the ransom.." Kanth says, looking to Nicolett with begging crystaline eyes. Nicolett drew in a deep breath, looking towards the clear blue sky then nodded.
"Alright.. fine.." she sighs, as if annoyed by the idea. "I'll do my best to control myself for you Kanth.." she says softly, looking straight down the street, she refused to look at him. Usually, a woman like her would not stoop to such low ways of getting money. But as the days wore by, Nicolett had to admit they were running low on supplies, and money to buy them with. Kanth wouldn't let her kill nearly as often as she used to anymore, and that almost annoyed her. But as people always said, you make sacrifices for love.
"Let's find somewhere to scope out possibilities.." Kanth suggested, and before Nic could object, he was gone and disappeared into a tavern. Tilek was off following Kanth in a moment, abandoning his ear near a mouse hole that was too large for his hulking body to fit through. Nicolett drew in another breath of the dried air, then followed into the bar.
Inside, there were only men, and Nicolett suddenly felt so greatly out numbered. She knew what to do if any of these 'men' came near her though. She had a dagger in her cloak, and wasn't afraid to use it. Kanth was already at the bar, sitting down.
"What can I get for ya?" the husky bar tender, Bordic asks.
"Anything that can get me drunk in 3 glasses or less.." Kanth replies sharply. Bordic grinned and disappeared. Kanth jumped slightly when a slender hand slipped over his shoulder.
"Should you really be drinking?" Nicolett asks him a moment later. Tilek found a shadowy corner where he could enjoy the dankness. Unfortunatly, he didn't realize he wasn't alone. He couldn't have been 5 feet away from where Neka and Fate stood now.
