Aerian sighs and collapses on her stomach beside him, her head resting on her arms. "Always. In fact... He's been 'guarding' me since I was quite young." She closes her eyes. "I guess I do owe him some thanks... He's gotten me out of more than one sticky situation. Without him, my head would probably be rotting on a stick outside Galidor." ((Where have I heard that name before...? X.X))

As if reading her mind, Fate walks over to Neka and puts a hand on her shoulder. "Neka... There is nothing going on between Aerian and I. It just... Pains me to see her growing up so fast. I've guarded her since she was very young... And she's not even lived a whole millenium yet."
