The tavern was silent, nothing made a sound, beside the floor boards creaking gently beneath booted feet, more Kanth than either Tilek or Nicolett. Tilek seemed just as happy about this job as the two being did, he moved close to the wall, his side scraping against is slightly, still making no sound. When he reached the door that lead to the room Neka and Aerian were in, he waited patiently. He could smell them in there, breathing, sleeping, he knew he was in the right place. Nicolett came slowly up behind her pet and looked down to him for a moment. Tilek knew what his job was. When Nicolett's hand gently touched the knob, she turned it, slowly pushing the door open so it would not make a sound as she did so. Tilek squeezed his body through the small opening as he made his way into the room. It was dark, the lights had automatically dimmed when Neka and Aerian fell asleep, magic of couse. Magic would take no notice to a rat though, it wouldn't start up for a house hold pest. Tilek moved quickly over towards the bed with Neka on it, sniffing at the sheet that hung over the edge, then the hand that hung down by them as well. Yes, he was in the right place. He investigated Aerian's position next, yes, they were both asleep, it was safe. He scuffled back over to the door, squeezing back out. He let out soft sqeeks, telling Nicolett how things were arranged in there, so she could plan perfect. Tilek also told Nicolett something she couldn't tell before. Tilek told her that Aerian was a vampire. One can always tell by the scent.

Nicolett smiled, petting her rat while Kanth just stayed silent. Nicolett would be more help with magic objects than he would, such as the lights. Nicolett knew this too of course and drew her hands together as if to pray and touched her finger tips softly to her forehead, muttering something softly under her breath. Her hands gave off a slight yellow glow, then she pressed it to the door. The door gave a faint glow at the core, then it was gone. Nicolett smiles to herself, the pushed the door open. She leaned close to Kanth's ear, speaking so silently that she could barely hear herself. "You have the girl of the left..." the girl on the left being Neka. Nicolett would be able to handle a vampire better than Kanth, and she knew it. Besides, Neka was practicaly helpless without her jewel, safe the kick she still had in her, literally. Nicolett had something other than fighting on her mind at the moment though, if either of the girls screamed, it would be fatal, the boys would come charging in, either that or the tavern keeper. If either were harmed, Nicolett and Kanth would get no money at all. Nicolett walked slowly to stand perfectly between the two girls, nearly invisable because of her black cloak and the shadows. Kanth watched from near the door way. Nicolett held her hands out from her, them hovering nearly over the girls and she closed her eyes. A red line, as if ribbon, faint to glow, came from her sleeves, wrapping around her fingers, then fell down as if like snakes to crawl up from where they landed towards the girls faces. The small strands moved up, crawling, and when they reached their destination, then slowly wrapped around Neka and Aerian's heads, covering their mouths, but so loose right now, that the skin could not feel them. They would tighten, as soon as either of the girls woke up. Nicolett smiles, lowering her hands. This was Kanth's key to move forward and he did. Nicolett shook her head as if laughing at herself for nearly forgetting something. She stuck her hand up her left sleeve as if fishing for something, then gently tugged at it, pulling out a red ribbon like rope that was exactly like the ones that had snaked up to cover the girls' mouths. She handed what she drew out first to Kanth, then pulled out more. This was going to be too easy. Kanth moved forward slowly, keeping the board beneath his feet from creaking as Tilek found a spot, settling down and starting to clean his paws as if bored. Kanth came up to the side of Neka's bed and suddenly, the board creaked, luckily, Nicolett was already in place beside Aerian as Neka's eyes shot open and they spotted the shadow right in front of her that was Kanth. She tried to do what her first reaction was, scream.... but nothing came out. Her heart lept in her chest as the next reaction came, fight, but Kanth was already on her, fighting to keep Neka from struggling. He didn't have too much trouble, being stronger than the girl by quite a bit and managed to get the red ribbon around her wrists and ankles, tightly.

Nicolett waited for Aerian before making her move.
