Aerian smirks a bit, her face wan in the moonlight now that the sand has died down. "I can relate. Trusting usually results in..." She grimaces, then unsnaps a few buttons on her sleeve, which is seperated from the breastband. After about six buttons come undone, a red, pulsing scar is revealed. She nods at it, then buttons the sleeve back up. "I've several more similar to that... cloaks are good for covering them up. I guess you could..." She shrugs, her words trailing off. She finds looking down at her perch, then back up at Eryk. A grin crosses her face. "And to think that I've considered trusting someone like you... This all proves that I'm too trusting for my own good." She pulls her knees up to her chest and wraps her arms around them.
