I agree that everyone goes about everything in there own way. People have a way of coping with certain situations. For example, there are those people that move to a city and take on the accent of that specific city to fit in. This person is taking on the role of the city person but is also taking on a role that they can identify with. I think idnetity is the controversial issue here. All the different roles is what is your "self" whcih then forms your identity. Then there are those people that stik to there original identity and are proud of it. I think identities and taking on roles is an insecurity issue. They feel that they have to conform in order to fit in.
