Today Mats Sundin was traded with Future considerations for a slew of players. 1- Eric Lindros still has a power foward form even with the concussions(plus 2.5 mil).2- Eric Dejardins we neeed the defense help( plus 2.25 Mil) 3- prospect-Igor Grigorenko the next great player. Prospect- Jim Slater future #2 center. Prospect-Kiel McLeod Hoping the big man finds his hands in the pros with alot of banging of bodies. And Mark Eaton as we needed alot of defense help.
BC had to think about this deal as giving up Mats was not in our plans but this offer was just to sweet as we got 3 players we can use now and 3 really good prospects that should play for us in a couple of years. We wish Mats luck in Halifax. BC Hearld
