With rumours rampant that Patrick Roy will retire following this years playoffs, and Mario Lemieux still not committed to playing next season, British Columbia hockey fans should consider themselves lucky to bear witness to what could be the swan song of two GWHL legends in the opening series of this years playoffs.

It's tough to say who has won the battle beteen the two superstars thus far. Roy's team holds a 2-0 series lead, but Lemieux has been spectacular in both games, getting a point on all 6 of the Huskie's goals. Both games have been one goal squeakers and Victoria should face a tough test tonight on the mainland.
