(HALIFAX)-After two games on homeice in their opening playoffs series with the Steeltown Hammers, the Halifax Harpoons are exactly where they want to be, up 2-0. While Mike Dunham stood on his head in keeping Steeltown in the game and was left to hang in the wind losing 1-0 in the first match, the second game was much different with Halifax scoring early and often.

Milan Hejduk and Peter Bondra counted twice while Joe Thornton and Marian hossa tallied once in chasing Dunham from the nets midway through the second period. Sean Burke played a good game for the second time in a row and has thus far allowed only 2 goals in the series

Brent Sopel was called for highsticking and given a game misconduct in the second necessitating the use of Ken Daneyko for the last half of the game.
