The Whitehorse Warriors have jsut pulled off a huge deal bringing in Robert Lang and Janne Niinimma, Saskatoon's leading scorer and top defenseman to help shore up the Warriers drive to the playoffs and maybe even turn this team into a contender. Also coming to Whitehorse is prospect defenseman Anton Volchenkov who GM Jeff Grothier is very high on.
Packing their bags were Michal Handzus and prospects Alexander Frolov and Ryan Millar along with Winnipeg's 1st round pick and the Steelers 2nd in 2007. Shipping out the young future stars for help now was a hard decision but hopefully the right one..
Whose next Damphousse, Turgeon, Nedved or maybe even power forward Owen Nolan....stay tuned
