Fresh off a GWHL crown, Blades GM evidently believes his team has what it takes next season to successfully defend the Hoser Cup.
"I don't expect to make any changes in the off-season" claimed Hayes. "This team proved they could win and I don't want to mess with that."
There were rumours of a firesale of talent, including MVP Mike Modano and Markus Naslund.
"Utter nonsense" stated Hayes. "These two players are key to the success of Yellowknife, they bring in the fans, and they win us games. I am not shopping them, or any other players at this time. If an offer gets thrown my way I can't refuse, then I will look at it, but right now I like this team and I believe in them."
