[Saskatoon, Sas.] Now that the dust has settled from the major deal the Saskatoon Silos completed with the Whitehorse Warriors, the Silos have turned their attention to Sunday's GWHL Draft. The team currently has three selections for the Draft, but would like to add one or two more.

Silos' GM Ken McKenna has already indicated that players such as 26-goal scorer Martin Gelinas, tough defensive defenseman Dave Karpa, and checking winger Pascal Rheaume are available. The Silos are said to be looking for a late first or early second round selection for Gelinas, and third round picks for the other two players.

In addition, with the acquisition of goaltender Ryan Miller, the Silos are said to be willing to part with goaltending prospect Jason Bacashihua. McKenna also is said to be listening to offers for his other active goaltenders, Tommy Salo, Curtis Joseph and Dwayne Roloson. Scoring winger Mariusz Czerkawski is also said to be on the block.
