Subject: Harpoons ship prospect to Lasers for pick Author: Rock Lobster [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 22:34:23 04/15/04 Thu (HALIFAX)-In an effort to bulk up on picks for the 2005 Entry Draft, the Halifax Harpoons have traded prospect Jaroslav svoboda to the London Lasers for a 3rd round pick in this sunday's selection process. This marks the end of the road for the former first round pick, one of the worst draft day blunders in Halifax history. "Jaroslav just didn't progress like we thought he would," admitted GM Stephen J. Holodinsky. "Maybe a change of scenery will help him along."
