The Totems extended their unbeaten start to the season and stayed narrowly ahead of Whitehorse in the battle for first with a 5-2 victory over Edmonton last night.

The fourth line was big for the Totems in this one, with Andrew Cassels and Freddie Modin each getting three points to lead the way. Top line winger Patrik Elias also managed to collect three points as well.

Goalie Patrick Roy got his third win of the year but Mike keena indictaed that JS Giguere would likely get the start for the next home tilt with the Winnipeg Wolves.
