Montreal, QB - Montreal Marauders management announced today that verteran defenseman Jason York had been put on waivers.

"Jason is a solid player and a good person. Unfortunately, this is a business decision. I'm sure someone will be happy to acquire his services."

Rumors indicate that veterans Tie Domi and Shjon Podein may suffer similar fates if they are not traded soon. Montreal management denied any comment on the subject.
