So far we've got 6 people involved in this conversation, not including myself. I'd like to hear what others have to say about this. First off, the fact that you can only change positions during the off-season and if a trade affecting said position is made WILL NOT change. That will remain. The question though remains of how to address the LW/RW imbalance in the Forecaster's positionings because let's face it, we do not use players making up the bottom third of the NHL. Universal winger was meant to take into account the position changing rules as stated in this message. The only thing this was supposed to affect is that you could at the beginning of the season or after a trade was made move your wingers around if the trade reflected that you needed to.

We've had two suggestions so far. One is allowing those players solely designated RW to play LW as well. The other is a reduncancy rule which would allow those who already play LW to stay there provided the GM doesn't move them positionally.

I'd like to hear what people have to say about these two suggestions.
