(HALIFAX)- It seems that GM Stephen J. Holodinsky has been doing more than interviewing players during this week of the draft as during a hastily held news conference the Harpoons revealed that they had traded for asnother top 10 pick in the upcoming selection process. The Harpoons have obtained from Quebec, Toronto's 1st round pick in the draft, 9th overall in return for Winnipeg's 2nd, Victoria's 2nd, Whitehorse's 3rd in 2003, and Winnipeg's 3rd in 2004.

When asked about the deal the boss said, "We basically get a premier pick but Quebec gets to deepen his draft. With the new draft class coming in, I'm sure both parties will end up happy."

With the deal, the Harpoons now have the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 9th and 20th picks in the draft
