Hallo!

With the possibility of saving the chosen list of pdf-links into file, this is not important. I thought, that right now I can search information from my pdf-s using filter-tool and it shows a list of pdf-s that correspond to this filtering criterium. If I want to use AND and OR operator in my filtering criterium, I must repeat filter-tool several times (e.g. AND correponds to double filter by different criteria and OR to 1.filter by one criterium 2. add the results to CollectorGrid 3. filter the main list by other criterium and 4. add the new results to the Collector grid, AND-NOT is even more difficult- and even if I use just one filtering criterium for extracting a group of pdfs from huge pdf-database, the filtering process itself takes time). It means, that if I want to sort my pdf-s into groups, it is sometimes quite cumbersome and it would have been useful to keep the filter results in different grid-tabs (while working, it is convenient for me to sort my pdf-s into groups and move between these groups for finding the pdf I need). I don't know, if I made myself clear... But if I can save the list to file, that problem is overcome.

Question. I haven't actually understood the meaning of these DB-functions. Is it possible to keep one database for all my pdf-s if I have them in many disks (harddisks, CD-s etc)? If it is, then it would be convenient to sort the pdf-s also by their location. For example, if I loose one CD, I want to remove all the pdf-s that were in it at once. I have used pdf-explorer only since last saturday, so I do not know all the possibilities yet- perhaps you can direct me to any help-material in web or somewhere?

There is also a thing I have noticed. Bug-report, perhaps?
If the pdf is renamed (e.g. by the first batch-tool),
it doesn't update the list on ScanGrid-tab: it shows the pdf with its old name. Still I can change the values (title, authors etc) for this old non-existing pdf and save it by pressing the blue disk button in InfoEdit field.
What does this blue disk-button actually do? I thought, it writes something into the pdf-file itself, but if the file is no more available?
But of course, if I want to open this old-named-pdf by one of the small buttons on the right-bottom of InfoEdit field, it asks me to insert the proper disk (that is a bit strange, if the pdf should be on a disk, that is still available, harddisk e.g.) and if I press CANCEL, the InfoEdit field turnes gray with no textfields on it. If I move to the next pdf that should be OK, it does not refresh the InfoEdit field- it remains gray. It is possible to refresh this tab by choosing one of the tabs in the upper left corner (e.g. "PDF View"-tab) and then back to "PDF info"-tab, but I have a feeling, that it is not actually ment to be that way.

Best wishes! Kaido
