Can be implemented and I’m sure that in some situations less digits format is more suitable.

Right now this is not possible because the images extraction tool do not use page object to root the search for images, so, can not identify in what page the image is draw. But because there is the need to add support to the extraction of inline images (images described in the page contents section) the extraction of images by page is going to be added in near future releases.

:) There are many not easily identified features available but none of the ones you describe but you can be sure that some of them are going to be implemented in next releases
