I am using Acrobat 6 as my viewer.

If by "solo text viewer" you mean the "PDF View" tab, yes, the display is blank there as well.

I just made a test. I was viewing a file. I then renamed it and put an apostrophe in it's name. Hit Enter. Boom, the display went blank. Took the apostrophe out, boom, display is back. I could toggle back and forth like this endlessly.

What's up with that? I wonder why yours is ok. I just upgraded to build 51 too.
