In the PDFView tab you have, in the bottom left, two tabs named Text (for solo text viewer) and All (for configured, Edit>Preferences-InternalReader, internal PDF Reader).
Try change the InternalReader configuration from InternetExplorerDefault to Acrobat option, or vice-versa.

I made the test using Acrobat V7 and Foxit Reader and the two works OK.
If the "images" view and the "Solo text” View work with these files is probably an error with Acrobat. Try use Foxit Reader, from FoxitSoftware. Is the best pdf reader around and the two (PDFE and FoxitReader) make a good job working together. To use Foxit Reader with PDFE make it the default Shell .pdf viewer and configure the PDFE InternalReader to InternetExplorerDefault option.
