In the PDFView tab you have, in the bottom left, two tabs named Text (for solo text viewer) and All (for configured, Edit>Preferences-InternalReader, internal PDF Reader).
Try change the InternalReader configuration from InternetExplorerDefault to Acrobat option, or vice-versa.

I made the test using Acrobat V7 and Foxit Reader and the two works OK.
If the "images" view and the "Solo text� View work with these files is probably an error with Acrobat. Try use Foxit Reader, from FoxitSoftware. Is the best pdf reader around and the two (PDFE and FoxitReader) make a good job working together. To use Foxit Reader with PDFE make it the default Shell .pdf viewer and configure the PDFE InternalReader to InternetExplorerDefault option.
