I purchased the cheapest Lincoln mig welder and fell in love with it instantly. It says that welds up to 1/8'' but I've welded thicker material and it works great. The one I have is the Weldpak HD and costs $249.00 at the depot. You can buy that one or the next one up the weldpak 100 HD for $369.00 at the same place. You'll love it.
