I agree with the message from Silverback, in fact even before I seen his message I was thinking a Hobart Handler 135 would suit your light steel >1/4" needs very nicely. This little machine is a great multi purpose do-it yourselfer machine. Broken lawn mower decks, .024 for auto body and light guage, etc. I don't personally have one because I have a 400 amp shop welder. But I looked at one at the weld shop the other day and they are asking only $460.00, I think I'm gonna get it for the field versatility. 135 amps plugs into 115v, nifty.
