the harbor freight unit wont work. i have the same one, and its only for making elbow bends, not curves. if you want to get that kind of a curve, either take it to a shop and have them curve it, or make a template out of 2-3/4" peices of plywood (so it looks like a half moon), take a thin strip of metal and cover the curved side, get the tube really freaking hot, but leave it about 8' long, just get the middle ~6' hot, then get a buddy, and a couple towels, wrap one around each end, and bend the tube around tghe curved face of the wood. ive done this before maky time, also has been on TV, Jesse James uses this method to curve bike frames. Let me know how it all works out.
