recently i have added a spoolmatic 30a to my miller regency 250. i have been welding for several years. mild steel and stainless are all i have been doing. i have never used a spoolgun and have very little experience with AL. i have been practicing on some scrap 10ga. alumium at different heat and wire speeds. i believe i have that part under control. the welds look fairly decent but are a little flat and wide. i'm still getting use to the nozzle, which is rather big and is blocking veiw of the puddle. so it's been hard to judge traveling speed. can you offer any suggestions on how i might produce a smaller more compact welding which is more uniform. are there any other tips you recommend rather than the one i'm using. your help would be greatly appreciated
