My company is seriously recruiting field engineers for our Canada wind farm projects. If you or anyone you know is interested, please contact me. We are hiring full-time and internship positions.
Field Engineer
Field Engineers are on a Project Management track. Primarily responsible for coordinating project plans and specifications, specific duties may also include:
• Participating in project safety audits
• Reviewing contract drawings and specifications for accuracy and completeness
• Procuring and reviewing all samples, brochures, shop drawings and other submittals
• Managing MEP coordination drawings
• Assisting with or leading the development of life safety systems testing, startup, and general building systems commissioning
• Expediting materials, including establishing lead times and tracking deliveries
• Coordinating and expediting the flow of project information, plans, and specifications to field team members, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Assisting with the development of the project schedule and coordinating and processing updates to the project schedule
• Coordinating the use and maintenance of the information populated within the Project Management Control System
• Implementing quality management procedures
Other entry-level positions are available in site field engineering, safety, MEP coordination, scheduling and estimating.
Majors Considered: Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Construction Management. Mechanical and Architectural Engineering majors also considered for students serious about the construction industry.
GPA desired: 2.7 or better on a 4.0 scale
