This information is probably of interest primarily to those on IEB, the Foundation Executive Board, and the Canadian Sisters of AOE.

I was on Revenue Canada's website and while I was on the page, decided to search on laws regarding charitable organizations in Canada.

I read a bit of it and from my understanding of the document; I'm fairly confidant that AOE Foundation as it stands can be a registered Charity in Canada as well. I did a search of charities in Canada and I know that other Fraternities and Sororities have come up in the listing. Some examples were Sigma Alpha Mu, Sigma Xi, Kappa Sigma, Gamma Phi Beta, Zeta Psi.

The document regarding registering Charities in Canada is found at http://www.ccra-adrc.gc.ca/E/pub/tg/t4063/t4063-01-e.pdf

Page 8 of that document contains the criteria determining what organizations and what types of objectives they have that would determine their eligibility to be a registered charity.
