In 2001, I rode my bicycle past the place where Nate's accident happened. I had been riding through there every day for six months and one day noticed the "memorial" items that began showing up there. I stopped a few times and read some of the notes left there, but I could not figure out what had happened.

About a month ago I started riding through there again on my way to the bicycle trail and noticed that his name is still being memorialized there. This has always made me sad and made me wonder what happened.

Finally, tonight I was able to do a web search and find out more about him. I never knew what happened there until tonight.

I'm sorry for your loss. I lost a child as well. You never get over it. I ride my bicycle through there almost every day and now I have a sweet face to think of as I go by.
