Huh? @_@ You must be thinking of Yuzuki in her little maid's outfit & subservient manner.
Let's look at the other females in Chobits:
- a teacher who had a bad break-up with her husband but has a great sense of humour.
- the landlady who is in charge of the building where Shimbo and Hideki live. She's also secretly an ex-scientist who used to work on AI projects.
- CHII, the cutest computer in existence. ^___^ She learns a lot and eventually gets a full-time job at the local bakery.
- a cute high-school girl who works at the same bar as Hideki, and is in love with the bakery guy.

Just because they're ordinary people who don't go around beating up on supernatural beasties it doesn't mean they're silly weak girly-wirlies.
