Umm... >.>... No, I wasn't just thinking of Yuzuki. Chii is an EXTREMELY weak female character that I have a problem with because she's just so stereotypically female. Some people think that's cute and that's fine, but I don't. I find the fact that she NEEDS someone the way she does to be very debilitating to her character.
My point was that a lot of CLAMP's earlier female characters haven't NEEDED to be all girly to be girls. They've been very androgynous, able to protect themselves and still been female and had relationships with males that haven't been retardedly and debilitatingly dependant. ALL of the female characters in Chobits are dependant upon men for their happiness, which I look upon as something of a handicap. I am NOT saying that women shouldn't be with someone or "don't need a man" or anything militaristically feminist like that. A man can be part of a woman's happiness. BUT they should not be the sole source of a woman's happiness, which seems to be the case for the girls of Chobits. Each one of them is dependant upon another man to "save" them or to make them happy. Other CLAMP girls like Hokuto, Sakura, Hikaru, etc. haven't done this and are better female examples.
