Summary of my opinion: I'm not trying to say people can't dislike whoever they want to dislike, but I've never yet seen someone with a GOOD reason to out and out hate Kusanagi. Lack of development? Okay, so dismiss him as shallow and move on. Pedophilic? Read the manga again and then we'll talk. Not bishounen? Tell me what looks have to do with character worth. Taking away precious page count from the characters you DO like? It's an epic story with more than four people in the cast; get over it and deal. Overall, it seems like it would be a good deal easier to just ignore him.
