But anyway, I was just flipping through the board and came to this one. The site you mentioned, http://www.animeondvd.com/specials/manga/compcharts.php?pub=12, it has an "*" next to X/1999, which according to them means (among other things) that "no final volume count is yet available." CLAMP hasn't finished writing it, so the best number they can currently give is 18. I don't think there's anything to worry about, the site is just confusing to read.
