i agree with this! ^_^

another reason possible for this wish other than guilt is that he doesn't wish for Fuuma and Kotori to be into this 'end of the world' thing (although they already are...). Since they already are, he wants to leave the apocalypse (die) so they/Fuuma will too. An example is that he said somewhere in the manga that he wished he didn't come back to Tokyo (because Fuuma/Kotori's dad was killed because of the Shinken). I think it should be something like that,,,,,

I don't think that it makes sense but who cares =P
