Excellent point.

Did Kamui wish for Fuuma to have the same powers? When? And I don't see why he would wish to lose... his greatest wish (at least at the time of his choosing sides) is to protect the place that Kotori and Fuuma could live happily. (Interesting sidenote: technically couldn't this also push him to the Dragon of Earth side? Protecting the 'place' could mean nurturing Earth, and destroying humanity)

How much you wanna bet that he realized this at the end of the May Asuka?

In the scene where Kamui and Kakyou talk (X14), Kakyou makes it a point that Kamui suffers from his other self (Fuuma), and that one beside him is also suffering from his other self. Could this be taken to mean Fuuma is suffering from Kamui? (It *could* mean, say, another Seal, such as Subaru, but it could mean a lot of people and CLAMP probably wanted it to come across that way.)

However, when Kamui voiced his wish, Kakyou did point out that 'Fuuma' would get hurt (meaning not DoE Kamui). So then HE would be the one suffering.

Kakyou also told Kamui to stop wishing such a thing... *shrug* I really don't know where this is going, but it sticks out.
