*shakes head* Not my fic. I've read one or two like that, where either the premise or the ending of TB was different (like, Hokuto is the Head of the clan and whatnot).
And hey, tell us when you've done your fic. I'd like to read it. ^_^

Because she wanted Subaru to make up his own mind about Seishirou. I get where you're coming from - Hokuto match-making the two of them. But I feel like it would have been just as controlling of her to say "sorry Subby, he's a bad man & you shouldn't see him any more".

Quite probably, at least as far as her flashback scene in X goes. In TB it was more that she wanted Subaru to be attached to someone, whoever it might be.

The main example is at the very end when she said to Subby (in their last scene together!!!! *sob* ;_;) "what does Subaru Sumeragi think about Seishirou Sakurazuka?"

Agreed. Subaru was happy with it being the three of them, and so was Hokuto. Seishirou denies all. ^_~

Actually, I felt more as if Hokuto was wanting Subaru to grow and change. At least so far as the "he should be attached to something in this life, something for himself" thing goes.

Oh wow, good point! ^_^ I never thought about it, but Hokuto's clothes were the mask she used (just as the gloves were for Subby and the glasses were for Seishirou).

Uh, yes! I was suprised at what she said to him - I didn't realise just how much she worried about Subaru. It was almost as if she felt guilty, which I never got from TB.
