"Teens and Dating"
Adrienne Pierce

To date or not to date? That's a question lots of parents ask themselves once thier cute children become...TEENS!!!! Yes, these sims are often misunderstood and filled with all sorts of emotional turmoil, one of them being the concept of love and all that goes with it.

If you allow your teen to date, you will want to establish some basic rules. Curfews is one such issue. SimCity has a curfew that is enforced (ask any parent to have been waken up at 1am by a teen and a police officer), so it is best to have your teen's curfew before then.

Another basic issue is what must a teen do to earn the gift of going out. Do chores need to be done? A certain grade in school maintained? Must it be the weekend?

Finally there is the question of simoleans. Dating is expensive and your teen will need cash for such expenses-must they get a job? or will allowances cover such things?

With these tips, your teens will be adequately prepared for dating.
