Your husband and mother simply do not get along. Nothing will stop them. Perhaps you should try to keep them seperated, especially since your mother doesn't have much longer left in this life. I doubt that after your mother passes on your husband will take out his anger on you, as the problem is clearly thier relations and not something else.
