Hello there, I'm a council member of Simmerville, we have both welfare and taxes. Most of them are posted on the HOOD page, although I admit they are not always so easy to understand. Anyway, we charge §500 per household per 5 simdays. We also charge families for sending a child to the University and if a family switches address. In the future I think we might have a car tax, too.

Our welfare program is limited, compared to the old system. A household can apply to one-time support of:
§3000 for special needs
§1000 for buying clothes (kids and teens only)
§1000 for upgrading a garden (fence, plants)
§1000 for paying bills and food

In addition we award graduated students with §10.000.

Simmerville Hood Council
