Brandi is right, but I have tried leaving my son crying in his crib and have never managed to last more than an hour before bursting into tears myself with guilt.

I found that the best way to get James to sleep all night is to keep him up until I am going to bed, which is pretty late and then he won't wake until my husband, who goes to work earlier than me so gets up early is awake.
