Hi, Anne

My gf just had twins. It was nuts! But, I tried to help as much as possible. Fortunately, I can afford to have a maid. I think having a maid is well worth it for those three crazy days. You can always fire her afterward. And of course the twins never wake up at the same time, so Adriana and I took turns waking up with the babies to feed them and sing to them. It was tough, because we both work, but she stayed home the first day, and I stayed home the second day, and she stayed home again the third day. We just slept and ate and that's it! Forget the beds, forget the house, forget the dishes. Let the maid take care of all of that.

I might suggest that you keep your daughter home while your child is a baby, all three days. She can help with the babies during the day. And that way you can sleep. She should probably do her homework via computer while the babies are sleeping. I hope this helps, but I'm afraid you'll just have to try to ignore the house for a few days. Your husband should help alot, too. Just tell him what to do if he can't figure it out on his own. lol

Good luck! It sure was a hectic and crazy time for us, but, of course, well worth it. :)

Ames
