Hi Abbey, my name is Maxine Wise. I'm 30 and I live in Simmington Hills. I'm the Education Director here, but that's not really why I'm writing you. I wanted to tell you that it takes a courageous and caring spirit to do what you're doing for your sister, Nadine. I've been reading your journal and following your story, and I'm so touched. Your selflessness has really inspired me to be more patient with Sims.

When I first moved here, my twin sister, Lydia, lived with me and my husband, Jacques. She helped me out tremendously with my children while I tried to get the school up and running. I don't think I properly thanked her for being there for me, and as a result we don't talk much. I heard her complain so much about the cramped living situation, that I took it personally.

Since she's moved out, I find that I don't see her as much anymore. In fact, I hear she's engaged but she hasn't called to tell me that herself. Another thing is that I've been told recently...well threatened, that I'm a snooty you-know-what. I never knew I came across that way. A few months ago, I gave this girl a hard time just because of the way she looked, and I feel bad about it now. Because of you, Abbey, I'm gonna try to make a change.

Anyway, enough of my sob story! It was really nice chatting with you. Thanks for being an inspiration and I truly hope that things get better for you, Nadine, her fiance and all the cats. *smiles*

Maxine

PS. Here's a little something to help!
