Bad News of the Century: I can't come to your Prom.
:( I'm so sorry, babe. You remember I told you I got a job? Well, they won't let me leave!! I was all excited to come to Riverdale to see you! Dag, it was all I could think about. Now, we'll have to wait to see each other in May. That's ok, right?
You know I just started this job, and they told me yesterday I gotta print off a ton of flyers to take with me door-to-door to publicize the new Wilsonoff Technical College (WilTech) being built. It's for adults that didn't go to a four-simyear college, that want to learn technical skills for owning a business. It's a good cause, so I'm not mad, I'm just very disappointed!
I haven't gotten enough time in, seniority, to be able to take a weekend off. I'm soooo sorry, pretty girl. You forgive me? *makes puppy dog face*
I will make it up to you when you come to my prom. Believe me, I will. heheh...
Don't go into a panic about who you're gonna go with now...just go with whoever you want, as long as they don't look better than me or TRY nothin'. LOL!
Let me know what you decide to do for Spring Break.
