Ugh, Neeve. I didn't know it was that bad. Don't worry about telling me, I understand-sometimes you just need a sim to talk to.
I heard a very similar story to yours, but it was the man who was being berated. His wife's mother had pretty much brainwashed her into thinking that he wasn't good enough. He had enough and said "if her mother can convence her that I'm not good enough, then I will never be good enough-in spite of the good times we may share". She asked for a divorce-based on her mother's recommendation-and he gladly gave it to her. He did find someone else and lives happily ever after :P
Honestly, what Lawrence is doing is abuse-pure and simple. It's verbal and most of all emotional abuse. You're a beautiful woman. Don't believe me, ask the men here in AV. Even Grex noticed. He tried not to of course, but he noticed. He's a sucker for long silky burnettes. LOL! Here's an idea, we'll do a partial trade! You can have Grex and I'll take Tobi :P LOL! Seriously...:|

Have you thought about throwing in the towel with Lawrence and finding someone who appreciates you. Maybe even having a seperation would be enough, perhaps he'll move back with his mother and you know that the relationship will be over then. She'll introduce him to some young lady that's "better suited" for him and then said woman will inherit the old biddy and her problems. Does she rule over her husband as well? Perhaps that's why he works so much.
How long have you two been married?
LOL! You look like a hooker! Ha! Perhaps he doesn't appreciate good lingerie. Maybe you should invest in the cotton ones with premade holes :P Some men don't like lingerie, that's fine-but don't berate your wife about it! Ugh, honestly, his behavior makes me want to come after him with a cooking pan. It's like he has PMS-ALL THE TIME!!!
Seriously, if you think about a formal seperation, let me know. The Medical Centre is looking for temporary help since one of thier doctors had to take maternity leave early due to a rough pregnancy. Poor thing, couldn't keep anything down and was constantly in the toliet vomitting. They are also looking for some more permenant positions as well-so if you want to make the seperation a permenant thing. You could work here in AV and there are plenty of apartments and a soon-to-be established community garden that needs some expert tending. Basically, I'm here if you need any support or place or simoleans or whatever. You have no excuses anymore.
Isn't Breckin adorable. Did you see his little teeth? He's so cute! We're going to have a party once the little one arrives to formally introduce them both to the hood. I think maybe one at the park.
This pregnancy has been really well. No morning sickness, no back pains. A little craving every now and then for oysters, but that's it. The twins are doing well. Still studying for school. They can't help out in the farm as much now that it's only fruit trees, so Grex promised to plant them each a small plot of land and let them tend to thier own crop. They get to pick which crop, so they're excited. Annie wants strawberries while Bryant wants pole beans. Grex's mood hasn't improved. He's still distracted and won't touch me. He got a strange phone call last night. I swear his face turned deadly white. I pretended to be asleep, but he took the phone into the hallway. I could only hear snippets. So something regarding a photo for the newspaper and something about family and love. I have no clue, but I doubt it's a good thing since his face went pale.
