Sorry for any shock but it is true I finally signed on the dotted line! I really do hate fuss and muss, hence why we did it this way...although I'm starting to realize that even this way has some muss to it. Now that I have my hands on this website address again, I can now tell my side of the story. The ceremony lasted 10 minutes, yet in that time Jack needed a diaper change and the telephone rang....not romantic at all, yet just the way I wanted it. Having been to many weddings, we both knew that that wasn't our style (well definitely not mine and I wasn't budging on that one) and we really do have everything we need so we both uncomfortable with the idea of wedding gifts. All we really want is to be able to toast our family the next time we're together (although we were hoping to surprise our side as we did Kenny's but good news travels fast...so SURPRISE). Also, I just want to clarify that I had no idea that Kenny went over to the Vic Inn the night before and we did not "announce it to the world" that Tuesday night, only to Kenny's family (most of which were leaving the country in the next 48 hours).
So that's that....someone else will have to have the big white wedding on our side (as I do enjoy attending them, yet only as a guest).
