Saturday night was indeed a celebration, Molly Blooms and then back to the Vic Inn for a night cap. Anticipation ran high for the next morning when two colors took to the pitch. One household in Stratford, was "red" in excitement and celebration. Today was the day, vindication for a lost season. The other household, was "blue" in knowing the very season hinged on this pivotal match. When it was all over, the "blue" supporter was now "red" in cheering and celebrating a convincing victory over an arch rival, while the "red" supporter was "blue" in sadness and despair, knowing a bad season just got worse, losing to their hated nemesis. While at Southpork, the Lord of the Manor rose early, prior to the match and noticed, written on his well chiseled body, the numbers 2 - 0. What did it all mean, it wasn't enough to even go into the pick three lottery, perhaps it was a sign of things to come. There you have it, a tale of two colors and a mystery, when things go "bump" in the night.
