Thanks again for the kind thoughts. It's been 60 hours since the op and I'm not sure I'll ever get into a pair of shoes again. However, the swelling seemed to go down a little today (as the actress said to the bishop) and I've changed from a 2-toed sloth to a much sleeker 3-toed one! Don't believe Florence Nightingale's tales about banging my crutch on the ceiling (heck, I couldn't do that before the surgery!) and if anyone spots King Kenny with my King Cobra check for damage to the sole (so I won't have to damage his soul!)
