I must defend our Sal and his hair. He actually IS as pretty as the lead singer for the Hives. And he can speak Mandarin Chinese, which Pelle Almquvist can't.

As for his hair, Sal has it set in thousands of tiny 1/8th inch curlers by the hair/makeup team before each performance, which takes hours of painstaking work, all so he can achieve the look that you call "flaked out". It may photograph as flaked-out, but in person, it's actually exquisite work that, when the lights hit it right, actually spells out an entire Emily Dickinson poem. Sal's everyday hair is usually the height of Paris runway fashion, but he endures all of this work away from couture in order not to distract fans from the music. Or the Dickinson poems.

We don't return Carson's calls. He's always whining about who dumped him lately. We cannot be his enablers any longer.

So, when are you going to post a picture of yourself?
