 new william gibson out called pattern recognition.
it's his first book set in the present, pretty tasty.
its about timeless beutiful clips of film anonymously released on the web, allergic reactions to advertising, and stegonography.

one of the strangest/spooky books i have read is House of Leaves. its got pages that loop back as footnotes, eerie appendices, and is about a house that is like four inches bigger on the inside than out.
