You are just opening up your psyche and that is why you are experiencing these things. When you go to bed, picture a circle of light around your body and ask your guide to come and watch over you as you sleep. Don't be a afraid sweety, just believe in the power of the light surrounding you, even keep a small light on as a visual and believe that you are safe and sound. You will be and remember, like attracts like, so don't be afraid, be strong sweetheart and let your guide watch over you.
